Edible verges and gardens are hugely popular. This event with the founders of Urban Food Street , Caroline Kemp and Duncan McNaught and Costa Georgiadis was booked out in a couple of days. If you missed out the there will be a video posted of the event shortly after.
Caroline and Duncan reached out to Councillor Chris Cornish from the City of Bayswater to organise this event because he pushed though one of Australia’s best edible verge policies. Costa is a great advocate of edible verges and the Urban Food Street. The objective is to encourage more Local Governments to allow food production on verges and even in some other public spaces.
