Urban Forest Strategy – community workshops

The City of Stirling is conducting  Urban Forest Strategy – Community Workshops over June at different locations.

The purpose of the meetings is to get community input and ideas for the preparation of an Urban Forest Strategy to “increase tree canopy cover on private and public land” across the City of Stirling.

Please come along to one of the meetings and have your say and show the City of Stirling that you care about our trees. RSVP here.

At a 202020Vision workshop in Perth in December 2015, the City of Stirling’s Manager of Parks, Reserves & Street Trees, Ian Hunter, announced that the City would develop an Urban Forest Strategy.  Lets make sure it is a good one!
