West Tree Canopy – video

See this great little video made for the launch of a new community tree group that has formed in the Western Suburbs,  the ‘West Tree Canopy’.   Please share this video and like their Facebook page.

The Western Suburbs are made up of seven Local Governments.  These are the Towns of Cambridge, Claremont, Cottesloe, Mosman Park, Peppermint Grove and the Cities of Nedlands and Subiaco.  This group will be working towards increasing the urban tree canopy by helping to educate the public and policy makers about the importance of cool leafy suburbs for the public health and well-being of citizens and native wildlife.

West Tree Canopy held their first public forum on Wednesday night, which was very well attended and the speakers were all excellent.  Below was the flyer for the event;
